Lots to catch up on.
Thursday, March 1st, I had my regular diabetes lab work done. HA1C came back a 7.9, which isn't great. They prefer it to be under a 7. So, in addition to my regular oral medication, I know have to take 10 units of NPH insulin at night. I was hoping to not have to use insulin on a regular basis, but for now I guess I'll have to.
Friday, March 2nd, I had to go to the ER for chest pains and shortness of breath. I was so scared that I was having a heart attack! After multiple tests (and 6 hrs), the doctor diagnosed me with muscle spasms. She gave me a prescription for muscle relaxers. I haven't had the pains since the morning of Sunday, March 4th. Praise God!
I was so excited to be able to finally order our Kindergarten curriculum for Marlee. We decided to go with My Father's World and I cannot wait for our package to arrive! We are planning homeschooling year round, spreading our vacation all through the year, because, let's face it, sometimes it's just too stinkin' hot in the summer time around here to enjoy being outside! We like to be outside more in the spring and fall, so summer we can do a little Kindy. It will only take about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs a day anyway. May as well enjoy the air conditioner we've been so blessed with!
Hmmm, all for now but more soon, I hope!
